House Nightingale is named after ‘the lady with the lamp’, Florence Nightingale, who very much lights the way for our House.
Just like Florence, Nightingale students are responsible and strive to achieve each and every day.
"I attribute my success to this – I never gave or took any excuse. The progressive world is divided into two classes – those who take the best of what there is and enjoy it and those who wish for something better and try to create it.” Florence Nightingale
Florence tells us that, "happiness is the gradual realisation of a worthy ideal or goal.” Nightingale students are using a collaborative approach to applying themselves across the Academy: demonstrating safe and respectful behaviour for learning. Much like the Nightingale bird, the House is full of energy, virtue and goodness. The House prides itself on attendance and positive points and enjoys celebrating our successes together as one. Currently, House Nightingale are on an excellent trajectory to securing the House Shield 2019/20.
House Nightingale truly ‘Lights the Way’. .
